Ronald “Ronnie” Turner, the son of Tina Turner, died Thursday, it was announced. He was 62 years old.
Police called 911 Thursday morning after a man said Ronnie was outside his home and struggling to breathe. It was reported by TMZ. A few minutes later, the son of the queen of rock and roll stopped breathing completely, according to the report.
Paramedics rushed to the San Fernando Valley location and attempted CPR, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, TMZ reports.
Although Ronnie has been suffering from health problems, including cancer, it is unclear what caused the medical emergency.
Ronnie’s death is the second devastating loss for the retired singer. Tina’s oldest son, Craig, He died by suicide in 2018.
Tina turned 83 on November 26.
