While talking with Tokyo SportsAbout AEW President Tony Khan Khan stated that he wants AEW to close the gap with WWE.
“There was a big difference at first, but as a result of efforts, the difference in audience mobilization is closing and the audience rating is also increasing. I think the good thing about us is that we have achieved a short period of international growth.
AEW games can be found in 130 countries around the world, and the relationship with New Japan has strengthened my position. That led to the joint entertainment. The AEW of The Birth was a professional wrestling world for great stimulus, and I think it had a positive impact. ”
AEW is currently busy with a lot of great shows coming up, especially with the Forbidden Door crossover, even with NJPW. We’ll have to wait and see if AEW will grow and become a better match for WWE.
