Two Arkansas men admit to trafficking a 6-year-old child and sexually assaulting her

Two Arkansas men have admitted sexual harassment after a hospital found that a 6-year-old girl suffered from several sexually transmitted diseases.

DeMarcus George, 27, entered his guilty plea during a federal court hearing in Little Rock last Wednesday. Mario Waters, 33, pleaded guilty earlier in the week. The two admitted to having sexual contact with the girl and engaged in sex trafficking. Prosecutors said.

Hunt continues for New York Central Park rape suspect, police appeal for public assistance

The guilty pleas effectively cancel George and Waters’ upcoming jury trial, which is set to begin Nov. 15. This avoids witnessing the child.

Authorities compressed George and Waters after the girl was taken to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in February 2018, after doctors determined that she was suffering from STIs. The New York Post reported.

The child was interviewed by FBI forensic interviewers and later revealed that the man who decided to be George was a rapist. The child later revealed that another man who decided to be Waters had raped her. The child told the visitor that the rape occurred in a hotel room with a screen in the middle of the room and illustrated a picture hanging on a wall in a hotel room.

Investigators were able to locate the hotel in Little Rock, which matched the description given by the minors, including a picture on the wall and a curtain in the room. The hotel’s financial records show that the mother of the minor rented a room in the hotel in March 2018 and paid with a credit card. Since then the baby has been removed from the mother.

The blood and urine samples of the two men showed that they had both tested positive for STIs in the young girl. Both George and Waters admitted in court that they had had sexual contact with a minor and had trafficked her with others.

“The unspeakable crimes committed against this child remind us of how important it is for law enforcement officers to be prepared to investigate and stop these horrendous acts,” said US Attorney Jonathan D. Ross said in a statement.

“These guilty pleas prevent the young victim from reliving her experience on the witness stand at trial.”

The human trafficking conspiracy of a minor is punishable by up to life imprisonment and any term of not less than five years of supervised release. The case is being investigated by the FBI and the Little Rock Police Department and is being investigated by United States Assistant Attorneys Christine Bryant and Allison W. Bragg.

Both will be sentenced in the following days.
