Internet singer Sid has released new single ‘Fast Car’, his second track of the year.
The music video with the R&B song, directed by Ethan Nelson and Graham Epstein, shows Sid and a romantic partner going on a road trip.
“I wanted to make something for gay black girls,” Syd said of the single in a statement. “I want them to see themselves in this and in me.”

‘Fast Car’ follows Sid’s February single ‘Missing Out’. It was the singer’s first new musical in less than four years.
Last year, it was confirmed that Sid had begun making a new solo album. It would be a follow-up to their debut LP ‘Fin’ and the EP ‘Always Never Home’, both released in 2017.
In the years since, Sid has collaborated with other artists including The Free Nationals, Disclosure, Zayn and Lil Uzi Vert.
Internet has also released its fourth studio album Hive Mind. The record was given five stars from Upon its release, labeling it “a colossal achievement that combines Motown tunes with pop heartbreak”.
“‘Hive Mind’ is that erratic effort, an album that – as the name suggests – is a colossal display of the collective wit of five artists at their peak.”
