Weyes Blood debuted songs from their fifth album And In The Darkness, Hearts Aglow at a show in San Diego, California this week – check out the footage below.
The Los Angeles-based artist – real name Natalie Mering – announced the landmark record last month and began a brief run of US headline shows on Tuesday night (December 6).
Performing at the Music Box in San Diego, Mering treated the crowd to first performances of “God Make Me a Flower,” “Children of the Empire,” “Grapevine,” and “Hearts Aglow.” Stereogum.
The singer-songwriter also performed ‘It’s Not Men, It’s Everybody’, ‘Twin Flame’, ‘The Worst Is Done’ and ‘A Given’ from her latest album. Setlist.FM.

Weyes Blood is scheduled to play two back-to-back shows tonight and tomorrow (December 8, 9) at The Theater at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles. He will begin a European tour at the end of January before heading to the UK and Ireland next month.
