What does ‘Evil’ star Asif Mandvi have in store for Ben, Kristen and David next?

Can’t believe seeing Ben and Kristen in ‘Evil’ season 2

. since the first season of evil, Ben Shakir (Aasif Mandvi) and Dr. Kristen Bouchard (Katja Herbers) have been the voices of reason and logic. While his colleague, priest David Acosta (Mike Colter) in training, seeks evidence of actual demonic possessions, the two skeptics apply scientific methods to prove the cases as frauds.

But in Season 2, Kristen and Ben’s beliefs are truly being tested. Ben is being visited every night by a succubus demon named Abbey, and he ends up seeing it while trapped under a building in Episode 4.

Kristen watches and listens to the fast-moving genie. And in the last episode, he saw what seemed to be the ghost of a woman cut off from an elevator.

But watching is still not believing for both of them. Kristen believes she needs her meds. And Ben thinks that his subconscious mind is causing these disturbing scenes.

An exciting episode of ‘Evil’ is on the way, says Asif Mandvi

There’s still a lot of excitement to come in the form of Season 2 evil Has sustained. And as Mandvi told TV Line, it has a mind-blowing episode on its way.

“We have an episode coming up where David and Ben and Kristen check out this God helmet that allows them to like visions of things, and sometimes some people feel like they see God, ” They said. “It’s a good episode.”

“It’s a really interesting episode, and it’s got a really big mind,” Mandvi said. “And in that one, Ben goes back to India and visits his dead mother, which is all I’ll say about her. It’s really cleverly done and fun.”

He reveals that Kristen and Ben will get closer this season

In Season 1, Ben becomes close to Kristen and her daughters while investigating a case about virtual reality ghosts. And as seen in Episode 4, “E Is For Elevator”, he still shares a friendly relationship with her and the girls.

In his conversation with TV Line, Mandavi suggests that Ben has doubts about Kristen’s involvement in Leroux’s death. But he revealed that their friendship will continue to grow as the season continues.

“I don’t think he knows what’s really going on, and I don’t even know if it’s completely resolved this season, but he certainly has his doubts,” said the Evil star. . “But again, he’s feeling closer to Kristen as their relationship has developed, and they all become closer.”

“I think [Ben is] Invested more in that friendship,” Mandvi said. “But he’s also that guy, if he knew for sure that Kristen killed Leroux, I think he’d have a really hard time with him. Because he’s, at the end of the day, a guy who Probably not going to let your feelings go around it, perpetuates the sheer criminality of the act.”
