Vanna White shares how she feels about her Wheel of Fortune wardrobe.
White, 65, revealed on a recent game show that he has worn more than 7,800 outfits over 40 years.
“I don’t like every outfit I wear because I feel like there are millions of people who are watching it and have different tastes, and I try to please everyone,” the co-star told People magazine.
White says she tries to be “versatile” because audiences can love her look.

White has co-hosted Wheel of Fortune with Pat Sajak since 1982. In the past 40 years, he said, he has never been allowed to keep his performance clothes.
“Designers send their clothes to the studio, I wear them, and then they take them back because most of them are samples,” she said. White insisted that the shoes and accessories she was wearing were her own.
Although White appears on stage only in heels, she admitted that she prefers comfort and only wears them during filming.
“I’m wearing a couple of UGGs right now,” she said. – I wear my high heels when we take pictures.
The longtime host told the publication that one of her favorite episodes was the holiday show where she had a costume malfunction.
“They decorated the set and my puzzle board had prizes on both ends,” White said. “There was a present attached to the hem of my shirt. So I was carrying this present back and forth behind me, but I didn’t know. Pat was laughing hysterically, and it was very funny when I realized that it was attached.”
White said he and his co-star have a “sisterly” bond with the outlet.
“He’s so funny. He really is. We see each other a day or two every two weeks. It’s great,” White said. “Then we don’t see each other, then we go back to work. And he always makes me laugh.
“I think when [series creator] Merv Griffin chose both of us, 40 and 41 years ago, he saw something between us – a brotherly relationship. And I think that’s the way it is. He saw that we could get along, and we do. We are like a team of brothers and sisters.’
In September 2021, Sajak, 76, revealed that he and White were “closer to the end than the beginning” of hosting the game show. It is more difficult to say goodbye to white. She told People magazine that it would be “disappointing” to give up her co-host role.
Meanwhile, Variety reports that both White and Sajak have renewed their contracts through at least the 2023-2024 TV series, so it’s unclear when the duo will leave.
