Who is Susan Burman?
Susan Davey Burman’s daughter is a Jewish-American organized crime man who works for the notorious gangster Meyer Lanci and the Genovese crime family in Minneapolis and Las Vegas.
In 1981, she wrote East Street, which depicts her life as the daughter of a gangster and was paid $ 350,000 for film rights, though no film was ever made.
Susan plays her father – who replaces murderer Bugsy Siegel at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas – who died under mysterious circumstances during the operation, though it is suggested that she died of a heart attack. She was only 12 years old.

On September 17, 2021, Durst, 78, was convicted of first-degree murder for shooting Burman after taking the stand and admitting that he had written an anonymous “confession.” Her death.

What did Robert Durst say about her death?
The 78-year-old said in the LA Courtroom in August 2021 that she entered Susan’s house on Christmas Eve with the key she had emailed and found her bleeding on the floor.
He said: “I took it twice. I saw Susan lying on the floor.
“I was like, ‘Susan!’ A couple of times, I quickly ran into her bedroom, her eyes closed. “
Before checking into another room to call 911, Durst said she checked Susan’s pulse and picked her up off the ground but the phone line wasn’t working.
He then left and attempted to contact authorities with a pay phone on Sunset Boulevard, about two miles away.
When the operator answered, Durst said he began to have reservations.
He said: “I decided I didn’t want to give them my name.
“Even without a name, I knew my voice was very recognizable.”
Instead they decided to write what is called a corpse note – a piece of paper mailed to the Beverly Hills Police Department with Susan’s address and the word “corpse.”
At trial, Durst admitted that he had lied about creating a note for years, including an interview for the HBO documentary The Jinx.
He said on Monday, August 16: “This is a very difficult thing to believe.
“I mean, it’s hard for me to believe that if I didn’t kill Susan Burman I would write a letter.”
It all came to a head when they confronted him about the misspelling of the word “Beverly” during the filming of The Jinx – which he wrote to Susan in a “corpse” note and in previous letters.
Not knowing that he was still being recorded, he confessed to the phrase “he killed them all, of course.”
How did Robert Durst die?
Robert Durst died January 10, 2022.
His lawyer wrote in a statement: “Mr. Durst died early this morning while in the custody of the California Department of Correction.
“We understand that his death was caused by natural causes related to a litany of medical problems.”
On October 16, 2021, Robert Durst’s lawyer confirmed that he was COVID-19 positive and was in the hospital on a ventilator.
