Willow Smith shaves her head on stage while performing the rock version of ‘Whip My Hair’

Willow Smith – known artistically as Willow – has shaved her head on stage during a performance of ‘Whip My Hair’.

While performing as part of his Facebook Live event, Willow in Concert: Lately I’ve Been Feeling Everything, On Friday (July 16), Willow was performing a punk-rock rendition of her stunning 2010 song, when a leather jacket-clad woman (herself wearing an undercut) took to the stage carrying a stool and clipper.

Willow, now seated, does not miss a beat of the song as she continues to perform on the guitar while her hair is formally shaved.

Watch the incident below:

The Facebook Live event took place to celebrate the release of Willow’s fourth studio album, Lately I Feel Everything, which features a previously announced collaboration with Avril Lavigne and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.

Lavigne and Barker both appeared on “Grow W”, as well as Barker on “Gaslight” and the previously released “Transparentsau l”.

The pair joined Willow for a performance of ‘Grow W’ during Friday’s livestream, with Willow detailing the opportunity to collaborate with Lavigne, calling the ‘Sc8er Boi’ singer “iconic”.

On the day of album release, Willow gave ‘Lately I Feel Everything’ four stars, saying Willow “just makes great music and knows not to put himself in a box”.

“Willow Karn delivers an 11-track playlist of chaos: with supercharged bass and furious drums, the punk influence is inevitable … but still produced an album that sounds like no other.”
